San Mateo suspect arrested after stealing $1,200 in clothing
A suspect was caught after allegedly stealing designer clothes from a San Mateo store and attempting to flee by car.

A suspect was arrested in San Mateo after allegedly stealing $1,200 worth of clothing from a local store, KRON4 reported. The stolen items included brands such as Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, and Polo Ralph Lauren.
According to KRON4, the suspect attempted to escape the scene by vehicle but was quickly stopped by San Mateo police officers. The police described the arrest as a result of prompt action following the theft.
