A recent survey by the Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research found that a majority of respondents want the next Congress to prioritize lowering the cost of living and winding down the Iran war.
About 80 percent of the 1,119 respondents said lawmakers should make reducing prices one of their highest priorities, according to The Hill.
The survey highlights public concern about economic issues and foreign policy as key areas for congressional action.
These findings suggest that voters are looking for congressional focus on domestic economic relief and changes in foreign engagements.
