Authorities search for inmate who escaped Chippenham Hospital in Chesterfield

Law enforcement is actively looking for an inmate who fled Chippenham Hospital Sunday night; public advised not to approach.

Law enforcement officials are conducting an active search for an inmate who escaped custody Sunday night after receiving medical treatment at Chippenham Hospital, WTVR reported.

The inmate, Devin Jacob Quick, was last seen around 8:30 p.m. in the 1200 block of Apex Road in Chesterfield County, according to NBC12. Authorities have set up a perimeter and are searching the surrounding area.

Residents in Richmond and nearby areas are warned not to approach Quick if spotted and to immediately call emergency services, WRIC reported.

Anyone with information about Quick’s location is urged to contact 911, Crime Stoppers anonymously at (804) 780-1000, or text “ITip” followed by their message to 274637 (CRIMES), according to WTVR and NBC12.
