The Florida Gators defeated the seventh-ranked Texas Longhorns 27-24 in Austin, according to WCCF Radio, NewsRadio WFLA, and Real Radio 104.1. This victory came with Trammell Jones making his first start at quarterback, throwing two touchdown passes to Lacota Dippre and contributing 41 rushing yards.

Jaden Baugh also played a key role by running for 91 yards and scoring an 11-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter, which was decisive for the Gators' win. Texas quarterback Arch Manning completed 14 of 20 passes for 173 yards and a touchdown but was unable to secure the win.

Looking ahead, the Gators are scheduled to play the University of Georgia Bulldogs in Atlanta on October 31. The game will kickoff at 3:30 PM, marking a significant upcoming matchup for local fans.
