According to NBC12, Richmond and surrounding areas can expect a rainy start to Saturday with rain likely through 10 a.m. The rain will taper off from west to east after that, giving way to sunshine in the afternoon.

The weather will be breezy and chilly, with north wind gusts around 30 mph making temperatures in the 50s feel colder. Residents are advised to bring plants indoors before nightfall as frost is possible Sunday morning in rural locations around Richmond.

Sunday will remain cold with mostly sunny skies and continued breezy conditions. Wind gusts near 25 mph will persist, with lows in the upper 30s in Richmond and mid-30s in rural areas. Highs are expected to reach around 60 degrees.

Looking ahead, NBC12 reports a potential Nor’easter next week with uncertain strength and track. If it moves closer to the coast, it could bring clouds, rain, and tidal flooding issues to parts of Virginia, including the Richmond area.

Monday through Friday will feature partly sunny skies with a slight chance of showers mainly east of I-95. Temperatures will gradually warm from the low 40s overnight Monday to the upper 60s by Friday afternoon.
