San Diego-based Better Buzz Coffee opens new drive-thru near Ontario Mills

Better Buzz Coffee Roasters, a coffee chain founded in San Diego in 2002, has opened a new drive-thru location at 941 N. Milliken Ave. in Ontario, across from Ontario Mills, according to reports from redlandsdailyfacts.com, sbsun.com, and dailybulletin.com.

The new site, which was formerly a Wendy's restaurant, operates daily from 4:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. The chain is celebrating the opening by offering a special drink called the Oatmeal Cream Pie Best Drink Ever, paired with an Oatmeal Cream Pie, available for the first 30 days at the new location.

Better Buzz Coffee Roasters now lists more than 60 locations on its website and has recently expanded into the High Desert with new stores in Apple Valley, Hesperia, and Victorville. The chain's signature drink, Best Drink Ever, is an Americano with a creamy vanilla flavor, available hot or iced, with seasonal flavors like pumpkin pie.

The menu also includes iced lattes, matcha, smoothies, and various food options such as egg bites, acai bowls, avocado toast, almond butter toast with seasonal jam, sandwiches, wraps, and pastries. The brand features a honeycomb theme with a yellow and black color scheme and a honey bee mascot.

This expansion reflects the continued growth of the San Diego-based coffee chain beyond its home market into the Inland Empire and High Desert areas.
