Anthropic, a company based in San Francisco, is offering Blackstone a yield exceeding 10 percent as part of its efforts to secure financing for a new chip deal, the Financial Times reported on October 16, according to milwaukeesun.com.
The proposed financing involves Blackstone funds investing $9 billion in debt, which would be secured by Anthropic's lease payments on the chips over a five-year period, sources familiar with the matter told the Financial Times.
