Banana Ball league to bring two teams to Camden Yards in 2027

The Banana Ball Championship League (BBCL) announced that the Party Animals and the Indianapolis Clowns will play games at Oriole Park at Camden Yards on July 2 and 3, 2027, FOX45 Baltimore reported.

Banana Ball is a fast-paced, entertainment-focused version of baseball known for its showmanship, fan interaction, and unconventional rules, drawing comparisons to the Harlem Globetrotters, according to The Baltimore Sun.

The Savannah Bananas, who originated Banana Ball, were founded in 2016 as a college summer baseball team and introduced the Banana Ball rules in 2018, which became the basis for their exhibition games.

After the 2022 summer season, the Bananas shifted from college baseball to exclusively focus on Banana Ball exhibitions and touring games. The BBCL features six teams, including the Party Animals and Indianapolis Clowns.
