Nabolom Bakery & Pizzeria, a longtime fixture in Berkeley's Elmwood District, closed permanently this past weekend after 50 years of operation, KRON4 reported.
The bakery served its final pie on Sunday, marking the end of an era for the local community that had supported the business for decades.
According to a Facebook post from the bakery, its outspoken political views contributed to the challenges leading to its closure, alongside increasing operational costs.
