The Santa Clara County Medical-Examiner Coroner’s Office has completed a full autopsy on Irfan Al-Hussaini, a senior data scientist at NVIDIA, confirming that he died by suicide in July, Palo Alto Online reported.

This official ruling contradicts claims made by Al-Hussaini’s family, who believed there were suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

Al-Hussaini was a 32-year-old resident of Palo Alto, and his family members, including his sister and parents, have publicly expressed doubts about the cause of death.

The family has also garnered thousands of signatures on a petition calling for further investigation into the circumstances of Al-Hussaini’s passing.

The medical examiner’s office has stood by its conclusion following the autopsy, emphasizing the thoroughness of the investigation.

No additional details have been released regarding the specifics of the autopsy or the family’s next steps.
