Richmond and surrounding areas can expect a week of cool and breezy weather with highs mostly in the 60s, according to WTVR CBS 6. Monday will be sunny and breezy with temperatures in the 60s and overnight lows in the mid 40s.

NBC12 reports that a Nor’easter off the Mid-Atlantic coast will linger for several days, bringing northeast winds gusting up to 30 mph and causing tidal flooding along the coast. This weather pattern will keep temperatures below average and mostly dry in Richmond.

Tuesday and Wednesday will continue with sunny skies and breezy conditions, with possible coastal showers mainly affecting southeastern Virginia. Highs will reach the upper 60s with lows in the upper 40s.

The rest of the week will feature mostly sunny skies with highs in the mid to upper 60s and lows mostly in the 40s, maintaining cool and dry conditions for the Richmond area.

Residents are advised to be aware of minor to moderate coastal flooding in southeastern Virginia where coastal flood watches are in effect, though Richmond itself is expected to remain dry.
