The Los Angeles Chargers fell to the Kansas City Chiefs 22-6 on Sunday, continuing their winless streak this NFL season, according to the San Diego Sun. The Chargers' 0-6 record marks their worst start since the 2000 season, when the franchise was still based in San Diego and began with 11 consecutive losses.

Kenneth Walker of the Chiefs rushed for 128 yards and scored two touchdowns, while Patrick Mahomes passed for 272 yards, leading Kansas City to a 5-0 record and the only unbeaten team in the AFC, the San Diego Sun reported.

The Chargers managed two field goals by Cameron Dicker but were unable to convert opportunities into touchdowns. They reached the Chiefs’ 1-yard line in the second half but settled for a field goal after a holding penalty stalled their drive.

Kansas City’s defense pressured Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert, sacking him four times and forcing two turnovers on downs. Herbert connected on some plays but was limited overall by the Chiefs’ defense, according to the San Diego Sun.

This loss continues a challenging season for the Chargers, who are seeking to improve their performance in upcoming games. The team will look to break their losing streak as the NFL season progresses.
