Dolly Parton's estate, managed by She's Alive LLC, has filed a motion to dismiss its lawsuit against the singer's nephew and former security head, Bryan Seaver, according to ABC News.

The lawsuit, originally filed in September, accused Seaver of making threats and fostering a culture of fear following Parton's death in August. Seaver and his security company were also subject to a temporary restraining order granted to the estate.

Seaver denied the allegations, stating in a court response that messages cited were taken out of context and that his security company had been owed payment for services rendered, which has since been paid, as reported by ABC News and NBC News.

The dismissal request is without prejudice, meaning the estate could potentially refile the claims. Attorneys for both parties have not provided further comment, according to NBC News and CBS News.

Seaver's attorneys expressed relief at moving past the dispute to allow the family to grieve peacefully and protect Dolly Parton's legacy, CBS News reported.
