Multiple federal agencies have recently submitted information collection requests (ICRs) to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review and comment, according to notices published in the Federal Register on October 22, 2026.

The Department of Veterans Affairs' Office of General Counsel plans to submit a collection related to requirements for recognition as a VA accredited organization, describing the nature, cost, and burden of the information collection.

The Veterans Benefits Administration will also submit a collection concerning statements from persons claiming to have stood in the relation of parent, including details on expected costs and burden.

The Department of Commerce has proposed revisions to the Annual Business Survey and invited public and federal agency comments for 60 days before submitting the request to the OMB for approval.

Additional submissions include collections related to the registration of municipal advisors and other agency information collection activities, all complying with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995.

These submissions are part of the federal government's ongoing efforts to assess and minimize the public's reporting burden while ensuring regulatory compliance.
