Howard Hanna Real Estate Services is entering the Alabama market through a partnership with ARC Realty and Capstone Realty, according to HousingWire.

The deal adds 875 agents across 12 offices located in Birmingham, Montgomery, and Huntsville, expanding Howard Hanna's footprint to 19 states.

ARC Realty and Capstone Realty, Alabama’s largest real estate brokerage, will continue operating under their existing brands while joining Howard Hanna’s national network.

Howard Hanna, a Pittsburgh-based family-owned brokerage, now has over 500 offices and approximately 15,000 sales associates and staff nationwide.

The partnership allows local leadership of ARC and Capstone to remain in place while gaining access to Howard Hanna’s technology, marketing, referral network, and affiliated services, as explained by Howard Hanna’s CEO.

This expansion follows a similar recent partnership with Maine-based Portside Real Estate Group, reflecting Howard Hanna’s strategy of acquiring majority interests while maintaining local management.
