The Hurricane Watch indicates that hurricane conditions are possible within 48 hours in the watch area, and the Tropical Storm Warning means tropical storm conditions are expected within 36 hours in the warning area. Additional watches or warnings may be issued as the storm progresses.

Residents and interests in southwestern and west-central Mexico are advised to monitor updates from their national meteorological services as Hurricane Trudy approaches.
