A man was shot Thursday night near Florin Road in south Sacramento, police say.

A man was injured in a shooting Thursday night in south Sacramento, according to the Sacramento Police Department.

Officers responded around 8:45 p.m. to reports of a person shot near the 1700 block of Florin Road, which is on the border between the Meadowview and Golf Course Terrace neighborhoods.

This area is located just south of the Sacramento Executive Airport.

Authorities have not released further details about the incident or the condition of the victim at this time.
