The Baltimore Ravens suffered a significant setback in their recent 36-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills, with critical injuries to their quarterbacks Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley, The Baltimore Banner reported. Jackson's right thumb injury required surgery and placement on injured reserve, putting his return this season in doubt. Huntley also left the game early due to a toe injury, raising concerns about his short-term availability.

Rookie quarterback Joe Fagnano, who started the game after the injuries, was sacked three times in three quarters and sustained a lower leg injury during the game. Despite the challenges, Fagnano expressed cautious optimism about playing in the upcoming game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Ravens' offensive line struggled significantly against the Bills' pass rush, which was ranked near the bottom of the NFL in pressure and sack rates before the game, according to NFL Next Gen Stats. The Ravens faced pressure on 55% of drop-backs, contributing to the injuries and the team's offensive difficulties.

These developments have severely impacted the Ravens' season outlook, which began with Super Bowl ambitions but now sees their playoff odds drop to 24%, as noted by The Athletic. The team will need to address its offensive line issues to stabilize the offense moving forward.

Coach Jesse Minter emphasized the importance of improving the offensive line to help the team's offense recover from these setbacks.
