Search ongoing for man who may have fallen into Lake Sinclair near Baldwin County

Crews are using divers and sonar boats to find a man who reportedly fell into Lake Sinclair near Haslam’s Marina.

Search efforts are underway at Lake Sinclair near Haslam’s Marina, located along the Baldwin and Putnam county lines, for a man who may have fallen into the water, FOX 5 Atlanta reported.

Divers are conducting underwater searches while additional crews operate sonar-equipped boats to locate the missing individual, according to the Baldwin County Public Safety Team's social media post shared by FOX 5 Atlanta.

Authorities have asked boaters to avoid the search area to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the ongoing operation.

Friends and loved ones of the missing man held a candlelight vigil and balloon release at Clark Atlanta University, FOX 5 Atlanta added.

The search continues as crews work to find the man in the lake, with updates expected as the situation develops.
