Several pharmaceutical companies apply to import and manufacture controlled substances
Halo Pharmaceutical, DMS Pharmaceutical Group, Groff Health, Groff NA Hemplex, and Janssen Pharmaceuticals seek registrations.
Multiple pharmaceutical companies have submitted applications to the federal government to be registered as importers or manufacturers of controlled substances, according to documents posted on the Federal Register website.
Halo Pharmaceutical Inc., DMS Pharmaceutical Group, Groff Health Inc., and Groff NA Hemplex LLC have applied to be registered as importers of basic classes of controlled substances. These applications were noted in the latest Federal Register updates.
In addition, Groff Health Inc. and Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc. have applied to be registered as bulk manufacturers of basic classes of controlled substances, expanding their roles beyond importation.
The Federal Register site displaying these applications is currently a prototype and not an official legal edition. It provides XML renditions of published documents with links to official PDFs on govinfo.gov, but legal verification should be done against official editions.
These applications are part of the regulatory process overseen by the Administrative Committee of the Federal Register, which has yet to grant official legal status to this version of the Federal Register website.
