Steven Soderbergh steps in to help finish The Batman Part II in London

Warner Bros. announced that Steven Soderbergh will oversee production of The Batman Part II in London while director Matt Reeves attends to a family matter in Los Angeles, according to popcrush.com. Reeves clarified on social media that he is not leaving the project and expressed gratitude for Soderbergh's assistance during this challenging time.

Production on The Batman Part II had paused two weeks ago due to Reeves' family issue. The film has already experienced multiple delays since the first Batman movie introduced Robert Pattinson's portrayal of the character four years ago.

Soderbergh, known for directing the Ocean's trilogy and recent smaller projects, is stepping in to help complete principal photography. He aims to work closely with Reeves and his team to ensure the new footage integrates seamlessly with what has already been shot.

This arrangement allows Reeves to remain in Los Angeles while production continues in London.
