The Tourmaliners will perform their latest album, “El Gato,” in its entirety at Tio Leo’s in San Diego on October 30, according to the Times of San Diego. The band’s sound is a 1960s-inspired instrumental rock ‘n’ roll, featuring guitarist Deven Berryhill, son of Bob Berryhill from The Surfaris.

Songs like “Creeky Door” and “Phantom Break” showcase the band’s style, which appeals to fans of The Ventures and Dick Dale. Alongside their new material, the band will include vintage covers such as “New Orleans” and “California Sun.”

Opening the show will be Kimmi Bitter, a country singer influenced by 1960s music. The event offers a lively party atmosphere for local fans of instrumental rock and vintage sounds.

Additionally, a pre-party for the Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise, which departs from San Diego on Halloween, will be held at The Wyndham Bayside Hotel on October 30. It features national blues artists including Sue Foley and Whitney Shay, providing a night of music before the cruise.

These events highlight San Diego’s vibrant live music scene this week, offering multiple opportunities for residents to enjoy performances by local and national artists.
