Tickets on sale for 2027 Sentry Open golf tournament in La Jolla

The PGA Tour event at Torrey Pines Golf Course will be held Jan. 27-30 with new title sponsor Sentry Insurance.

The San Diego golf tournament formerly known as the Farmers Insurance Open has been renamed The Sentry Open and opened ticket sales for its 2027 edition, Times of San Diego reported. The event is scheduled for January 27 to 30 and will take place at Torrey Pines Golf Course in La Jolla.

This tournament marks its 75th overall playing and its 60th consecutive year at Torrey Pines. The new title sponsor, Wisconsin-based Sentry Insurance, replaced Farmers Insurance as of June 1, ending a 17-year sponsorship under the previous name.

Organized by the Century Club of San Diego, a nonprofit group, the tournament supports the Champions for Youth program that aids at-risk and underserved communities in the area. Daily grounds tickets start at $50 for the first round and increase by $10 for each subsequent round.

The Century Club's CEO expressed enthusiasm about the partnership with Sentry Insurance and continuing the event's traditions as a major sporting and lifestyle occasion in San Diego.
