Trump to rally with GOP candidates in Dalton, Georgia on Friday

President Donald Trump is scheduled to hold a rally in Dalton, Georgia, on Friday, October 17, according to PowerTalk 96.7. The event will take place at the Dalton Municipal Airport and will feature Trump campaigning alongside Congressman Mike Collins and GOP candidate Rick Jackson.

This rally marks Trump's third visit to Georgia this year and is part of a broader midterm campaign push to support Republican candidates in key states, as reported by NewsTalk 1240 WSFC. Trump has been actively campaigning in traditionally Republican states such as Texas, Ohio, and Kentucky, according to Gray DC.

The rally is scheduled for 3 p.m. Eastern Time and is expected to draw significant attention. Road closures near Dalton Municipal Airport are anticipated, according to 11Alive.

Trump's visit comes as Mike Collins trails in polls against Senator Jon Ossoff, with several polls showing Ossoff leading by 8 to 10 percentage points. Despite this, Trump has expressed confidence in the impact of his rallies, stating they have helped set candidates up for success in previous elections.

The campaign efforts are focused on maintaining Republican control in the Senate, even as challenges persist in holding the House of Representatives, according to the reports.
