According to MarketWatch, job openings in the U.S. rose in September to reach a four-month high.

Hiring also increased during the same period, indicating a mild improvement in the labor market.

Despite these gains, MarketWatch noted that it is still not an ideal time for job seekers, as the overall labor market remains sluggish.

The increase in job openings and hiring suggests some positive momentum, but the sustainability of this trend is uncertain.
