During Monday Night Football in San Francisco, Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin sustained a knee injury in the first quarter against the San Francisco 49ers, according to riggosrag.com.

McLaurin went down with a non-contact injury, clutching his knee in pain, and was quickly attended to by medical staff who placed his knee in a brace and carted him off the field, riggosrag.com reported.

SI.com confirmed that McLaurin was ruled out for the rest of the game but noted that the team has not provided a diagnosis or timetable for his return.

The injury occurred shortly after McLaurin caught a 27-yard pass, marking a setback after his recent return from a hamstring injury. Both McLaurin and teammate Stefon Diggs had just returned to the field after missing previous games, SI.com added.

The injury to McLaurin has raised concerns about his long-term availability, as riggosrag.com mentioned a troubling trend of injuries following contract disputes.
