19-year-old dies, 12-year-old injured after car hits them in Chesterfield

A 19-year-old man died and a 12-year-old was injured after being struck by a car in Chesterfield early Sunday.

A 19-year-old man died after being hit by a car in Chesterfield early Sunday morning, WRIC 8News reported.

Along with the man, a 12-year-old was also struck and sustained injuries in the incident.

Authorities have not released further details about the circumstances of the crash or the condition of the injured child.
