Authorities investigate death at Gordon County home near Sugar Valley

Gordon County deputies are investigating after a person was found dead at a residence off Highway 136.

Deputies with the Gordon County Sheriff's Office responded to a home in the unincorporated Sugar Valley community to investigate a death, Atlanta News First reported.

Officials said the investigation is ongoing and that they do not believe anyone is at large in connection with the incident.

The Gordon County Sheriff's Office continues to work on the case, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
