Bravo renews ‘In the City’ for season 2 amid cast uncertainty

Bravo has officially renewed the unscripted series ‘In the City’ for a second season, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The show, a spinoff of ‘Summer House,’ is currently in production in New York City.

The renewal announcement came as part of a batch of renewals by Bravo, which also confirmed the fifth season of ‘Southern Hospitality,’ as reported by Deadline. However, Bravo has not yet revealed which cast members will return for the new season.

‘In the City’ features a crossover cast from ‘Summer House’ and ‘Winter House,’ including Lindsay Hubbard, Kyle Cooke, Amanda Batula, Danielle Olivera, and Andrea Denver. Season one explored significant life changes among the cast, such as marriage and separation.

A notable storyline in season one involved Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke’s marriage difficulties and eventual split. There is speculation about Amanda’s participation in season two following a recent cast-related controversy, but no official cast details have been released.

The show follows New Yorkers navigating major life transitions, including marriage, parenthood, and personal reinvention, continuing to provide viewers with a look at evolving relationships and friendships.

Fans and viewers are awaiting further announcements from Bravo regarding the returning cast and premiere details for the upcoming season.
