NPR Politics reported that clergy members from diverse religious backgrounds in swing states are undergoing training to serve as Election Day 'poll chaplains.'

These poll chaplains will be positioned approximately 100 feet from certain voting locations to provide assistance to voters and help maintain order during the election process.

The initiative aims to support a peaceful and organized voting environment by leveraging the presence and guidance of trained clergy members near polling sites.
