Baltimore County Police reported that around 10:40 p.m. Saturday, three masked men armed with a handgun confronted a homeowner in the 10000 block of Greenside Drive in Cockeysville.
The homeowner said the suspects threatened him, prompting him to draw his own weapon and shoot at the men, who then fled the scene.
Officers later found one of the men, identified as a 20-year-old, dead nearby. The other two adult men went to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
Police recovered a loaded handgun believed to belong to the suspects during the investigation.
