CODI alert issued for missing 16-year-old boy in Northumberland County

Virginia State Police issued a CODI alert for Cayden James Dawson, last seen in Northumberland County, believed to be in danger.

Virginia State Police have issued a CODI alert for 16-year-old Cayden James Dawson, who was last seen on Fruit Plain Road in Callao, Northumberland County, around 7:30 p.m. on October 21, according to NBC12 and WTVR CBS 6.

Dawson is described as a 5-foot-4 white male with blonde hair and blue eyes, weighing approximately 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing white jogging pants and is believed to be driving a dark gray 2024 Honda Civic with Virginia license plates TDL-1367, WTVR reported.

Officials have expressed concern for Dawson's safety, stating that his disappearance poses a credible threat to his health and well-being, as noted by NBC12 and WRIC 8News.

Authorities urge anyone with information about Dawson's whereabouts to contact the Northumberland County Sheriff's Office at 804-580-5221, according to NBC12.
