The Federal Register published new notices regarding Foreign-Trade Zone (FTZ) production activities on October 30, 2026. These notices include authorizations, notifications of proposed production activities, and a denial of authorization for various companies.

Patheon API, Inc. in Cincinnati, Ohio, received authorization for production activity involving pharmaceutical products under FTZ 46, according to the Federal Register. Similarly, Adtran, Inc. in Huntsville, Alabama, was authorized to produce telecommunications equipment under FTZ 83.

In contrast, Aprinnova LLC in Leland, North Carolina, was not authorized to engage in production activity related to cosmetic products under FTZ 214, as reported by the Federal Register.

Additionally, notifications of proposed production activities were posted for ElringKlinger South Carolina, LLC (automotive battery subassemblies) in Easley, South Carolina (FTZ 38); World Wide Technology (networking racks) in Edwardsville, Illinois (FTZ 31); and Atlantic Veal & Lamb, LLC (meatpacking and processing) in Creston and Sterling, Ohio (FTZ 40).

The Federal Register noted that these postings are part of a prototype version of the daily Federal Register and are not official legal editions until granted status by the Administrative Committee of the Federal Register (ACFR).

These notices inform stakeholders and the public about current and proposed production activities within Foreign-Trade Zones, which are designated areas that facilitate international trade and manufacturing.
