A chimpanzee sanctuary in Florida had to use a drone to deliver food to one of its 200 chimpanzees due to heavy rains flooding the property, WPLG Local 10 reported.
Despite the flooding, the sanctuary confirmed that the chimpanzees remained safe throughout the event.
By Saturday, the water was receding significantly, allowing the sanctuary to resume normal care routines for the animals.
