Hillsborough voters to decide on electing school superintendent in 2028
Voters in Hillsborough County will determine whether to elect the school superintendent in the next election cycle.

Hillsborough County voters will have the opportunity to decide this Election Day if the race for school superintendent should be added to their ballots in 2028, WFLA 8 reported.
Currently, the school superintendent position is not elected by voters in Hillsborough County, but this decision could change that process in the future.
The outcome of this vote will determine whether the superintendent will be chosen through an election or continue to be appointed.
