Cole's French Dip, one of Los Angeles' oldest restaurants and a place rumored to have invented the French dip sandwich, is set to reopen after its closure earlier this year, KTLA 5 reported.
The restaurant originally closed in March after 118 years of operation, citing multiple challenges including higher operating costs, rising rents, and financial losses from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Despite these difficulties, the iconic eatery is making a comeback, signaling a return to the local dining scene that has long valued Cole's as a historic culinary landmark.
