FOX40 reported that Democratic Representative Josh Harder won reelection in California's 9th congressional district on Tuesday night.
Harder defeated his Republican opponent, John McBride, who is a local trainer and strength coach.
The 9th District has been redrawn recently and no longer covers all of Stockton, but it still includes parts of the area relevant to local voters.
Harder's victory means he will return to Congress for another term representing this district.
