Los Angelistas host Halloween walk past 'Thriller' house in Angelino Heights
A women's group leads a Halloween-themed walking tour exploring historic Victorian homes and pop culture landmarks in Angelino Heights.
Los Angelistas, a women's walking group in Los Angeles, are organizing a Halloween-themed tour in Angelino Heights, a neighborhood known for its century-old Victorian homes and rich history, LAist reported.
The group hosts weekly walks across Los Angeles, with October tours drawing large crowds interested in spooky and historic landmarks. Earlier this month, they visited the Spadena House in Beverly Hills and conducted a murder-themed tour in Los Feliz.
On November 1, the group will visit Angelino Heights, highlighting the neighborhood's stunning Victorian architecture and its role as a filming location for Michael Jackson's 1983 'Thriller' music video, which will be a featured stop on the tour.
Los Angelistas was founded in April 2023 by Jillian Goodman and others who met through a shared interest in exploring Los Angeles on foot. The group aims to showcase lesser-known areas and their cultural significance, especially during the Halloween season.
