Lucy Hale and Ian Harding reunite for holiday film The 12 Dates of Christmas

Lucy Hale and Ian Harding, known for their roles in Pretty Little Liars, have reunited for the holiday romance film The 12 Dates of Christmas, which is currently streaming on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+.

Hale described the reunion as a "dream come true," explaining that they had always wanted to work together again on a different project. She noted that the tone of this film is very different from Pretty Little Liars and that the movie allowed them more time to develop their on-screen rhythm and banter, which they did not have much opportunity for in the TV series.

Harding expressed gratitude for the opportunity, highlighting that unlike television, where actors must adhere closely to the script due to long-term story planning, this film gave them the freedom to play and add their own touches to scenes, creating a fun and new dynamic between them.

In the film, Hale plays Christina, a successful shop owner who has prioritized her career over dating. After family pressure to find a partner, she embarks on 12 dates leading up to Christmas in search of Mr. Right, who is played by Harding.
