A Minnesota man saved nearly 20 children by stopping a bus when the driver had a medical emergency.
A 27-year-old man in Minnesota was credited with saving nearly 20 children after their school bus driver suffered a medical emergency, ABC News reported.
Surveillance video showed the man, Ebro Ahmed, noticing the bus driving with its door wide open and the driver appearing to have a seizure, prompting him to jump onto the bus and pull the emergency brake.
Ahmed described the situation as chaotic, with some children screaming and others calm, and credited two girls on the bus who helped him during the event, according to ABC News.
He also mentioned that watching the TV drama "Grey's Anatomy" helped him stay calm and know what to do in such an emergency situation.
Saint Paul Public Schools confirmed the medical emergency and said paramedics responded to the scene, with no injuries reported. The students were transferred to another bus and sent home.
The incident highlights the quick response of a bystander in a critical moment to ensure the safety of children on a school bus.
