BabyCenter has released its list of the most popular baby names for 2026, with Olivia and Noah holding the top spots for girls and boys respectively, according to WBTV, Atlanta News First, and Live 5 WCSC.

The top five boy names have remained unchanged for the third consecutive year. Liam and Oliver are second and third, followed by Elijah and Mateo. Lucas moved up to No. 6, and Elias jumped eight spots to enter the top 10 at No. 7 for the first time. Levi and Ezra dropped slightly, while Leo rejoined the top 10 at No. 10. Asher and Luca fell out of the top 10.

On the girls' side, Eliana surged five spots to become the second most popular name after debuting at No. 7 last year. Amelia dropped to No. 3, Charlotte rose to No. 4, and Sophia fell to No. 5. Isabella and Emma also saw slight declines. Aurora and Evelyn rose in rank, with Evelyn rejoining the top 10 after falling out in 2024. Mia remained steady at No. 10, while Ellie dropped out of the top 10.

Only one girl name, Magnolia, debuted in the top 100, rising 40 spots to No. 88. Four boy names were new to the top 100: Milo, Stetson, Archer, and Dean, with Dean entering the top 100 for the first time this century at No. 100.

The rankings reflect trends in baby naming for 2026 as reported by BabyCenter and covered by multiple news outlets including WBTV and NBC12.
