Charlotte to see dry, calm weather with highs in 60s and 70s this week
High pressure will keep Charlotte rain-free with cooler temps and breezy conditions this weekend.
WBTV reported that Charlotte will experience a tranquil weather pattern with morning lows in the 40s continuing through the week, typical for autumn in the Carolinas.
High pressure is expected to maintain control over the region’s weather for the next 7 to 10 days, resulting in dry and calm conditions well into the last week of October.
Wednesday started off chilly with near-normal lows in the 40s, and abundant sunshine will warm highs into the low to mid 70s, close to average for late October. Thursday’s temperatures will be similar.
A dry cold front will bring breezy and cooler weather this weekend, with Friday’s highs near 70 degrees dropping to mid 60s on Saturday. Winds gusting over 20 mph on Saturday will make it feel cooler.
Temperatures will rebound to around 70 degrees on Sunday, with near- or above-average temperatures expected next week. The next chance of rain is forecast for very late next week, likely over Halloween weekend.
