The Marin Municipal Water District has approved a fee for customers who choose to opt out of smart meters.

The Marin Municipal Water District (MMWD) has approved a fee for customers who decide to opt out of smart meter installation, according to marinij.com.

This decision means that customers who prefer not to have smart meters installed on their properties will be required to pay an additional fee.
