A date night between a Nashville chef and a football scout ended with the chef taken to hospital unresponsive, CBS News reported.
CBS News reported that a special dinner date between Nashville chef Jade Benning and assistant football scout Blaise Taylor turned into a medical emergency on the night of February 25, 2023.
According to CBS News, the evening began with Jade planning to cook dinner and paint pictures, but shortly after taking selfies, she became ill, spitting up and shaking.
Blaise Taylor initially called his father, a college football coach experienced in handling injuries, who advised him to call 911 immediately, which Blaise did.
Emergency responders found Jade lying face down with no pulse and transported her to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, where she arrived unresponsive, CBS News stated.
Jade's best friend, Nijaiha Jackson, had returned to the apartment to find Jade unresponsive, despite seeing her lively just an hour earlier, CBS News reported.
