One dead in hit-and-run crash in El Dorado County early Monday

A hit-and-run crash near Lotus and Coloma roads in Coloma resulted in at least one death, CHP reports.

According to the California Highway Patrol incident page, a hit-and-run crash occurred just before 3:30 a.m. Monday in El Dorado County.

The crash took place near the intersection of Lotus and Coloma roads in the Coloma area, as reported by FOX40.

The CHP logs indicate that at least one person died as a result of the crash.

Lotus Road near Henningson Park and Highway 49 were mentioned in the incident details, but further information on the crash circumstances or suspects has not been released yet.
