More than 100 San Francisco firefighters responded to a two-alarm fire at a four-story apartment building at 10 Argent Alley near Market Street in the Twin Peaks neighborhood on Tuesday morning, according to Mission Local and KRON4.

The fire affected multiple floors of the 12-unit building, with flames reported on the third and fourth floors and visible down to the second floor. Firefighters used ladders and water hoses to subdue the blaze.

The San Francisco Fire Department stated the fire was under control by 10 a.m. There were no reported injuries to people, but one dog died in the fire. A missing cat was found and rescued from the smoke-filled building.

Three to four residents will be displaced from their units due to the fire, the fire department said. Fire crews worked amid light rain during the incident.

The building is located in a tucked-away area near Market Street, and the fire department shared video footage showing the firefighting efforts on multiple floors.
