Panthers lose 43-13 at home to Buccaneers with four turnovers
Carolina Panthers were defeated 43-13 by Tampa Bay Buccaneers, struggling with turnovers and run defense in Charlotte.
The Carolina Panthers suffered a 43-13 loss at home to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, as reported by WBTV. The Panthers committed four turnovers during the game, with quarterback Bryce Young responsible for three of them.
Young's turnovers included a fumble after a heavy hit while throwing, an interception caused by a slipped receiver, and a pass deflected at the line of scrimmage. Although he threw a long touchdown pass, it did not impact the game's outcome.
The Buccaneers dominated the rushing attack, gaining 258 yards in total, with running back Bucky Irving contributing 106 yards. Tampa Bay's quarterback Baker Mayfield threw only 11 passes, relying heavily on the run game.
With this defeat, the Panthers' lead in the NFC South diminished. The team will have a quick turnaround, preparing for a Thursday Night Football game on October 29 against the Green Bay Packers.
