Republican National Committee chair Joe Gruters admitted that the Republican Party is experiencing problems with voter turnout, according to The Hill.

Gruters made the comments during an interview on 'The Hill Sunday' with NewsNation's Chris Stirewalt, where he confirmed there is a turnout problem for Republicans.

He noted that Democrats tend to vote early, implying that Republicans have different voting patterns that may affect turnout.

The remarks come amid increased pressure for the GOP to maintain control of Congress in upcoming elections.
