The Golden State Warriors secured a 128-118 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers in their final preseason game at Chase Center, according to eastbaytimes.com. Steph Curry, who has been carefully managed during the preseason to protect his knees, scored 20 points in 26 minutes, lighting up the third quarter with four of five shots made.

Curry faced physical play from the Blazers in the first half and shot just 3-of-11 early, but he found his rhythm later, hitting two 3-pointers, a midrange jumper, and a layup in the third quarter. Despite not showing much quickness, he demonstrated the ability to handle a heavier workload ahead of the regular season.

Warriors rookie Yaxel Lendeborg contributed 17 points and four rebounds, while Brandin Podziemski also scored 17 points. Draymond Green added 11 assists and eight rebounds in 24 minutes, finishing the preseason with a strong assist-to-turnover ratio of 26:5 over the last four games.

Oakland native Damian Lillard, returning after missing last season due to an Achilles tear, led the Blazers with 23 points. Warriors guard Brandon Williams was scratched from the game due to back tightness. The Warriors now have four days to rest before their season opener against the Lakers on Wednesday.
