The Davis Police Department arrested two women from Dixon for allegedly shoplifting at the Target store on Second Street in Davis, according to the Davis Enterprise.

Officers responded around 11:40 a.m. on Saturday after loss-prevention employees reported a theft in progress. The employees recognized the two women from 19 previous shoplifting incidents at the same store.

The women were observed bypassing points of sale without paying for merchandise and were detained at the scene. They had a child with them during the incident.

Both women, aged 45 and 46, were booked into Yolo County Jail on charges of conspiracy, retail theft, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, the Davis Police Department said.
